We partner with architectural teams and real estate developers to optimize building performance and eliminate compliance bottlenecks. By integrating early-stage thermodynamic analysis into your design phase, we help your team mitigate against lost opportunities, clear building code compliance concerns, and protect your project’s bottom line.
As a designer or builder, balancing architectural aesthetics with strict California energy closed is a constant battle. A single calculation error can result I n failed permitting, costly field modifications, and compromised indoor air quality.
Pretzer Green Consulting acts as your external engineering department. We specialize in early-stage thermodynamic analysis, building envelope optimization, and energy code translation. We bridge the gap between your creative vision and engineering reality.

Phase 1: The Digital Envelope Intake: Initiate the audit process by providing schematic layouts and related project documentation.

Phase 2: The 60-minute Peer Review: A live technical consultation with a Masters in Engineering from USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering. We review your building envelope, address potential thermal bridging issues, optimize HVAC sizing and equipment, and ensure passive design strategies are maximized first.

Phase 3: The Engineering Feasibility Report: You receive an objective, technical data analysis and brief detailing specific performance optimizations, material alternatives, and code-compliant recommendations designed to pass strict permitting laws.
